Here's another great ad, this one, I believe, from 1950. "An outfit to thrill every young buckaroo from ages 2 to 12." You'll note right off the bat that this complete 15 piece Texas Ranger Cowboy Outfit is incomplete in that it doesn't come with a cowboy HAT! It does, however, come with a "genuine Texas Ranger cowboy MASK like all cowboys wear." Huh?? Not that the mask is the goofiest part of the deal. I'm sorry but any self-respecting cowboy from Buck Jones and John Wayne to Lee Van Cleef and and Franco Nero would blow this "dude" away on general principle when he came into town looking like this!
